I have been unemployed for seven days.   Gerhard says I must stop telling people that I am unemployed, I am a consultant.   Well same thing.   I no longer have a formal place of work to go to every day.   My hours are generally more flexible and a couple of things have changed in my life.   1.        Yes, I have become one of the people dropping my kids off at school in gym clothes, no make-up, ponytail or sometimes even worse, a braid.   No wonder nobody greets me anymore on the school run, they probably don’t recognize me; 2.        I go to gym seven times a week now, it’s either that or shopping, or eating, neither too appealing; 3.        I wear flat shoes quite often, rather strange to look at the world from such a low angle.   And it was raining a lot here the past couple of weeks, so my toes are generally wet; 4.  ...
